Hi, I’m Nishant — designer, builder, and car enthusiast.

… and terrible chef, proud dog dad, hardcore DIY-er.

Yes, I drive a Miata. No, I’m not a hairdresser.

Hi there! I’m Nishant and thank you for visiting my website.

For as long as I can remember, I have been in front of computer screens tinkering around and playing with anything that I could find. In middle school, I taught myself to create a PokeBall with CSS and enjoy working on obscure projects from time-to-time.

As a teenager, I vividly remember being awestruck after stumbling upon Dieter Rams’ work and Steve Jobs’ story telling, and then spending hours trying to learn everything I could about their lives. That was the beginning of something special.

In 2016, I co-founded Oswald Labs — an award-winning accessibility technology company — which was borne out of my philosophy of a more equitable internet. My team’s fantastic work earned us a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.

Over the past five years, I have worked at multiple organizations including Intuit, Searchie and The Government of British Columbia in design and technology capacities. My work generally involves creating tailored user experiences to achieve business goals sustainably.

Outside of work, my fascination with classic roadsters pushes me to spend my weekends trying to fix and drive them. If I don’t respond to emails within 24-hours, you can probably find me in my garage struggling to install car parts. I also consider myself a personal-finance junkie with interests in residential real estate and dividend investing.

Currently, I am wrapping up my degree in Interactive Arts + Technology at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.

Open to full-time roles starting 2024.
